Schlage Sense Home security vet Schlage (rhymes with Hague) released a Bluetooth bolt of its own this year, joining Kwikset's Kevo and other app-controlled smartlocks. The Sense doesn't raise the bar much—like other locks, you can add and delete access codes and check the status—but it does offer integration with Apple's HomeKit and Siri. We're mostly psyched because Schlage makes some seriously tough and reliable locks. Price TBD. Josh Valcarcel/WIRED

Mercedes Benz F 015 This self-driving car makes it clear: It is on like Discs of Tron. With a body made of a carbon-fiber/plastic blend, Benz's concept car looks impossibly space-aged and sleek. You don't have to drive it, so why not relax in one of its four plush swiveling chairs? And why not take in a movie on one of its six HD touchscreens? Josh Valcarcel/WIRED

Grush Brush Mary Poppins said: "You find the fun, and snap! The job's a game." This is what Grush Brush does for teeth brushing.
