Dodge dealers officially started deliveries of the 707-horsepower Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat last week. There’s a lot to say about the engineering that goes into a car capable of handling that much power, running the quarter in under 11 seconds, and hitting 199 mph. But we know what you really want to know: What kind of burnouts will your hooligan neighbor be doing once he’s got one the driveway?
So when we got our hands on the $60,000 Hellcat earlier this month, we grabbed a GoPro and went to an abandoned part of town. Then we turned off traction control, put it in first gear, held on the brakes, and slammed on the gas.
Then the police arrived.
Enjoy.
