Hey guys, over here. Lookit! Amidst all the Force awakenings and Batmans v Supermans of the last week you might have forgotten that there’s also a Fantastic Four movie coming soon. 20th Century Fox is here to remind you of that fact with an all-new trailer.
And it looks pretty great. Director/co-writer Josh Trank’s movie has been something of an outlier since it was announced and even though someone allegedly leaked the plot a while back, very few details about how these fantastic four work together have surfaced, even in the previous teasers. This trailer changes that, showing not just the relationships between Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic (Miles Teller), Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman (Kate Mara), Johnny Storm/The Human Torch (Michael B. Jordan), and Ben Grimm/The Thing (Jamie Bell), but also giving a brief glimpse of Toby Kebbell’s villain Victor Domashev/Doctor Doom. This thing looks like an actual, real movie now, you guys.
And, like the Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailers that dropped last week, it’s also got plenty of drama and explosions, too.
We’re now officially stoked for this movie. Fantastic Four hits premium large format theaters Aug. 7.
