Watch Two Women Find Out They Might Be Twins Thanks to a YouTube Video

The Internet has made it so that you can find anything online: a date, a new TV, illicit substances. But what if it accidentally helped you find your family?

In the documentary Twinsters , a young French fashion student named Anaïs Bordier accidentally finds a YouTube video of a woman who looks just like her. That girl, Samantha Futerman, was an aspiring actress living in Los Angeles. She also happened to be born the same day as Bordier in Busan, South Korea and also put up for adoption.

After her discovery, Bordier sent Futureman a message on Facebook and the two spent the ensuing months corresponding and eventually meeting to discover if they were truly separated at birth. Twinsters, directed by Futerman and Ryan Miyamoto and premiering at the South by Southwest film festival, follows what happens when Futerman goes to London to meet her possible twin and eventually take the test that will prove if they are a biological match.
