Despite Dropbox, Photostream, Reminders, and all other manner of cross-platform sharing options, I still find myself emailing important links, images, and documents to myself on a regular basis. Maybe I’m old-fashioned, but it’s a hard habit to break.

Luckily, there’s now a way to email yourself things super quickly. An app called Mail to Self adds a “Mail to Self” app extension in the share menu of iOS, so you can email yourself directly with a quick tap.

After you download the app, you enter your email address and are sent a verification code. Enter the code in the app, and setup is done. Now, whenever you have something copied to your clipboard and hit the “Mail to Self” share extension, an email of the text automatically gets sent to your email address. Right now, photo sharing isn’t supported, but that feature should come in the next version of the app.

You can get the free app from the App Store here.
