Google announced a few new Nexus devices today—the new Nexus 6 phone, the Nexus 9 tablet, and the Nexus Player, a streaming set-top box for movies and games. It also made Android 5.0′s code name official: it’s Lollipop, and it will run first on these new Nexus devices.

The Nexus 6 is a handset made by Motorola. It’s got a 6-inch Quad HD display, a 13-megapixel camera, and an aluminum housing. It has dual front facing cameras, and Google says the device will charge up for six hours of use in just 15 minutes. The new phone will cost $649 for the 32GB version, and $699 for 64GBs.

The Nexus 9 is a 9-inch tablet manufactured by HTC. It has “brushed metal sides” and 8.9-inch screen according to Google. Taking a cue from Microsoft’s Surface line, it comes with a two position keyboard that attaches magnetically. The tablet will cost 16GB for $399, 32GB for $479, and 32GBs with LTE will cost $599.

The Nexus Player is a streaming media device, the first to run Android 5.0. In addition to doing Chromecast-style streaming, it will let people play Android games from their phones on their televisions. The media player with a remote will cost $99. There’s also an optional game controller that’s a $40 add-on.

The Nexus 9 and Nexus Player will be available to pre-order on October 17. The Nexus 6 doesn’t have a firm order date yet, but Google says it will be available for pre-order in late October. The announcement came via a blog post from Google. Wired will have a hands-on look at the devices in the coming days.
