Filling in for Mat this week is WIRED staff writer Christina Bonnington. She’s our Apple reporter here on Gadget Lab, and of course we’re dedicating the entire show to the news surrounding the upcoming iPhone launch event—which we’ll be liveblogging and Tweeting and Facebooking and second-day-taking and probably discussing again on next week’s show, too. Like it or not, Apple is the largest, most important technology company of our time. So anytime somebody sneezes in Cupertino, we listen (and comment). Right now, most of what we know is only speculation, but Christina and Mike swing the bat anyway. Dreamers gonna dream.
Programming note: About halfway through the show, you’ll hear Mike incorrectly quote Apple’s tagline for Tuesday’s press event. The correct tag is “We wish we could say more.” Please forgive him, he feels terrible.
