The Case Maker Pro lets you change your iPhone case as easily as slapping another sticker on your laptop. Take a magazine page or photo and stick it into the CaseMaker—essentially, a giant hole puncher the size of an iPhone—and clamp down. Slip the photo into the clear case and snap it onto your phone. Repeat until your printer runs out of ink, or all your magazines have iPhone-shaped holes in them.
The case itself, made of dual-injection polycarbonate and silicone with clear insets on the back and edges, is elegant and slim in its own right, and fits the phone securely. The solid metal CaseMaker slices through most paperlike substances. Showcase your photos or drawings; recycle a Trader Joe’s bag or some shiny wrapping paper; make art out of old shopping lists or maps. You can even keep a couple sheets stacked inside the case, for quick swaps between work time and play time.
Right now, it’s only available for the iPhone 5/5s. At $50 for the CaseMaker and one case, it’s a commitment, although you can get more cases separately if you don’t mind sharing the punch tool.
